About New Vision Ministries

Living out faith.

A biblical-based church learning to worship, serve, reach the lost, and do life as a community of believers.

Our history

From Colony Baptist Church to New Vision Ministries.

New Vision Ministries was originally Colony Baptist Church and changed to New Vision Ministries in 2015. A small group of five believers sought to be a biblical-based church that sought to live out the Great Commission and do life as a community of Believers.

We believe God has called his church to worship, serve, and reach the lost together.

We believe that the local church is where those who believe that Jesus is the risen savior who died for our sins and defeated death gather to worship and learn about our God.

We desire to grow mature and reflect our God's full power and authority as his church. We are responsible for helping serve, disciple, and teach others while holding each other accountable as local body members.

We desire to live our faith outside the walls of our local gathering place and engage our community with the gospel's truth in word and deed.

Leadership

Leaders who train the body.

Pastor Gerald Baldwin serves at New Vision Ministries. Our leaders help the local body grow in maturity, learn the Word, serve one another, and live the Great Commission faithfully.

Leadership is not separated from the life of the church. It is a ministry of equipping believers to do their part, hold one another accountable, and reflect God's authority beyond the walls of our gathering place.

What we believe

We Believe……

Ephesians 4:11-13

The church is the training ground for believers.

We believe that the church is the training ground for believers. We will gather regularly to worship and exalt our God while serving those in the body of Christ. We expect to be trained by our leaders to carry out The Great Commission effectively and faithfully.

Ephesians 4:16

Each Christian is a supporting ligament.

We believe that each Christian is a supporting ligament and must do his or her part to support the growth of the local body.

Romans 10:9

Through faith, we become sons and daughters of God.

We believe that man deserves judgment from a Holy God, but if we accept Jesus as our Lord, completely submitting to his will and word, and believe that Jesus bore our sins on Calvary, taking the full judgment of God on our behalf, died and was resurrected on the third day we, through faith, become sons and daughters of God.
